East Liverpool native Craig Wetzel was born breech and continues to observe the world from that perspective. He is a professional artist and author, which is why his car is falling apart. He has exhibited his art in the United States and Europe and prints of his work have sold throughout the world, but he’s still broke. Last year Craig wrote and illustrated For the Love of Pete, a book about a pinecone who tours East Liverpool and falls in love with a plastic flamingo.

We are collecting donations of fleece to make tie blankets for individuals in need. We are asking for 2-yard sections in order to make large enough blankets. To make one blanket, we need 2 sections of 2 yards (front & back). Please drop the material off in the bin placed by the main desk. BRING WARMTH TO OTHERS! Want to help us make the tie blankets?

Join us on Monday, September 11th from 5:30 to 6:30 for a discussion about homelessness in our area. This discussion will be led by Lisa Smith. Lisa Smith is Co-Pastor of Grace City Church and Outreach Coordinator at The House of Grace Resource Center. She has a heart and passion for the “least of these” – those who struggle with housing insecurities, poverty, and are typically overlooked by the general population.
