Toddler Time Zoom

TODDLER TIME ZOOM  The target audience is children birth to 36 months old and a caregiver. Language is so important at this age. We will share the joys of language through a short virtual meeting.  Our digital experience will include nursery rhymes, songs and stories once weekly.

Library Circulation Clerk, part-time, with friendly customer service experience and comfortable using computers. HS graduate. Must be detail oriented. Starts at minimum wage per union contract. Apply in person at Carnegie Public Library, 219 E 4th St.

Building Open

The Library is offering inside “grab and go” services. Our occupancy is limited at this time for social distancing. The only entrance will be at our front doors. If you need the elevator, ring the bell at the door facing the Mary Patterson building and someone will be along to help you.   Maintain a safe distance of at least 6' from others including staff. All patrons must wear a mask. Curbside will still be available if you do not wish to come inside.

Hold Redelivery for eBooks

A new option is now available for holds in our digital book collection: hold redelivery (or the “Deliver later” option). This feature gives patrons more control over their digital holds, so they can borrow and read titles when it’s most convenient for them. Go to https://ohdbks.overdrive.com/ with your library card to borrow digital items.

Wi-Fi Hotspots

Carnegie Public Library added Mobile Hotspots for adult patron use. Adult patrons with library cards in good standing, will be able to check out Hotspots for two weeks at a time with a limit of one per household. The Hotspots connect to the T-Mobile network and allow the users to connect phones, laptops, tablets, and other devices to the internet.

We Are Open, Curbside Pick-up Available


The library is open for materials browsing and computer use. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated patrons while in the building.
Curbside pick-up is still available. Call 330-385-2048 to request items. Call again when your arrive. We will place the bagged items at the bottom of our back stairs on Drury Lane (facing the former Cooper's Insurance). Returned items should be placed in the book bin either outside or inside. AV materials must be returned inside.
