Hold Redelivery for eBooks

A new option is now available for holds in our digital book collection: hold redelivery (or the “Deliver later” option). This feature gives patrons more control over their digital holds, so they can borrow and read titles when it’s most convenient for them. Go to https://ohdbks.overdrive.com/ with your library card to borrow digital items.

Wi-Fi Hotspots

Carnegie Public Library has added another service for the community by offering Mobile Hotspots for adult patron use. Adult patrons with library cards in good standing, will be able to check out Hotspots for two weeks at a time with a limit of one per household. The Hotspots connect to the Sprint network and allow the users to connect phones, laptops, tablets, and other devices to the internet.

We Are Open, Curbside Pick-up Available


The library is open for materials browsing and computer use. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated patrons while in the building.
Curbside pick-up is still available. Call 330-385-2048 to request items. Call again when your arrive. We will place the bagged items at the bottom of our back stairs on Drury Lane (facing the former Cooper's Insurance). Returned items should be placed in the book bin either outside or inside. AV materials must be returned inside.

Solar Quest

Solar Quest - Carnegie Science Center will be bringing a program that is out of this world!

“Solar Quest” is a full dome planetarium short feature that demonstrates how the Sun and Earth are interconnected and that we are “Living with a Star.”

High quality animations display solar phenomena such as fusion and light energy as well as solar surface features and events. Granules, solar flares and coronal mass ejections are highlighted.
