Carnegie Public Library added Mobile Hotspots for adult patron use. Adult patrons with library cards in good standing, will be able to check out Hotspots for two weeks at a time with a limit of one per household. The Hotspots connect to the T-Mobile network and allow the users to connect phones, laptops, tablets, and other devices to the internet.
We hope the Hotspots will be a helpful tool for our students and families that don’t have access to the internet at home or that cannot make it in during regular library business hours.
If patrons don’t have a device at home, the library offers public use computers and Wi-Fi during open hours as well as books, eBooks, magazines, movies, and more. We encourage our community to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for upcoming news and programs and stop in for a visit to see what our library has to offer.
